Volocopter<\/a> und Wofei Changkong Technology Co. (auch bekannt als Aerofugia<\/a>), eine Tochtergesellschaft der Geely Technology Group<\/a> haben den Abschluss ihres im M\u00e4rz angek\u00fcndigten Joint Ventures bekannt gegeben. Das Unternehmen wird unter dem Namen Volocopter (Chengdu) Technology Co., LTD (Volocopter Chengdu) operieren. Eine Vereinbarung \u00fcber den Kauf von 150 Volocoptern wurde bereits unterzeichnet.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Volocopter Chengdu wird eng mit den Luftfahrt-, Verkehrs- und Regierungsbeh\u00f6rden von Chengdu und anderen Teilen des Landes zusammenarbeiten. Ziel ist es, in den n\u00e4chsten drei bis f\u00fcnf Jahren Urban Air Mobility (UAM) in Form von Volocoptern in China einzuf\u00fchren. Dazu wurde der Hauptsitz in Chengdu bewusst gew\u00e4hlt. Denn die Hauptstadt der westchinesischen Provinz Sichuan ist ein wichtiger wirtschaftlicher, kultureller und verkehrstechnischer Knotenpunkt. Somit ist sie ideal f\u00fcr die UAM-Markteinf\u00fchrung. Dar\u00fcber hinaus bietet der Standort Chengdu bietet aber noch weitere Vorteile. Schlie\u00dflich kann das Joint Venture hier von Geelys vor Ort existierendem Produktionsstandort und etablierter industriellen Vertriebskompetenz profitieren.<\/p>\n

Volocopter unterzeichnete zudem einen Vertrag mit Volocopter Chengdu und Geelys General Aviation Manufactory Base. Hierbei wurde die Produktion von Volocopter-Flugger\u00e4ten und -Teilen vereinbart. Mit dieser Produktionsvereinbarung soll dann die schnell wachsende Nachfrage nach Flugtaxidiensten in China abgedeckt werden.<\/p>\n

Volocopter und Geely-Tochter Aerofugia bringen UAM nach China<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u201eSeit 2019 ist Geely ein wichtiger Partner und strategischer Investor Volocopters. Der heutige Tag markiert einen bedeutenden Schritt auf unserem gemeinsamen Weg erschwingliche elektrische Flugtaxidienste nach China, einem der vielversprechendsten M\u00e4rkte f\u00fcr UAM zu bringen\u201c, so\u202fFlorian Reuter, CEO von Volocopter.<\/p>\n

Jing Chao, Pr\u00e4sident von Volocopter Chengdu, teilt diese Ansicht: \u201eMit der Gr\u00fcndung von Volocopter Chengdu k\u00f6nnen wir die Einf\u00fchrung von Flugtaxis und UAM hier beschleunigen. (…) Als Investor sowohl von Aerofugia als auch von Volocopter freut sich Geely darauf, dass Volocopter Chengdu Urban Air Mobility in naher Zukunft realisieren wird.\u201c<\/p>\n

Auch die Politik zeigt sich erfreut \u00fcber den Zusammenschluss von Volocopter und der Geely-Tochter Aerofugia.
