Inzwischen ist das <a href=\"http:\/\/www.webasto-group.com\">Unternehmen<\/a> landesweit in allen Zentren der Automobilbranche vertreten und China seit Jahren gr\u00f6\u00dfter Einzelmarkt f\u00fcr Webasto. Mitarbeitende, Kunden, Lieferanten und Regierungsvertreter feierten das Jubil\u00e4um mit einem hybriden Event.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Rund 3.000 Webasto Kolleginnen, Kollegen und G\u00e4ste waren am 12. November 2021 in Schanghai vor Ort oder per Live-Stream zugeschaltet, um gemeinsam \u201a20 Jahre Webasto China\u2018 zu feiern. Anl\u00e4sslich der Veranstaltung betonte Holger Engelmann, Vorstandsvorsitzender des Unternehmens: \u201eOhne unser Wachstum in China st\u00fcnde die Webasto Gruppe heute nicht da, wo sie steht. Die positive Entwicklung der Nachfrage nach unseren Produkten hat China zu unserem derzeit gr\u00f6\u00dften Einzelmarkt gemacht. Unser Erfolg in der Region hat uns erm\u00f6glicht, massiv in neue Technologien und die Weiterentwicklung unserer Besch\u00e4ftigten in aller Welt zu investieren, um Webasto konsequent auf die Mobilit\u00e4t von morgen auszurichten.\u201c 2020 trug China mit rund 40 Prozent zum Umsatz der Unternehmensgruppe bei. Trotz der aktuell sehr volatilen Lage sieht Engelmann in der Region gute Zukunftschancen. \u201eUnsere Doppelstrategie, unser Kerngesch\u00e4ft zu st\u00e4rken und neue Gesch\u00e4ftsfelder zu erschlie\u00dfen, geht auch in China auf. Die Entscheidung, in den Markt f\u00fcr <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investmentplattformchina.de\/konsolidierung-china-will-weniger-e-autohersteller\/\">Elektromobilit\u00e4t<\/a> einzusteigen, hat unserem China-Gesch\u00e4ft zus\u00e4tzlich Dynamik verliehen\u201c, so der Vorstandsvorsitzende.<\/p>\n<h2>Webasto: Einstieg in E-Mobilit\u00e4t<\/h2>\n<p>Der im Vergleich zu anderen Automobilzulieferern fr\u00fche Markteintritt in China, Anfang des Jahrtausends, war f\u00fcr den Hersteller von Vorteil. Mit eigener Produktion, lokalen Lieferanten und einem guten Branchen-Netzwerk konnte sich das Unternehmen in China zun\u00e4chst als Anbieter von Dachsystemen schnell etablieren. Nachdem sich das Gesch\u00e4ft in der Region in den ersten Jahren eher moderat entwickelt hatte, profitierte Webasto anschlie\u00dfend von dem rasanten Wachstum des chinesischen Fahrzeugmarkts und dem stark steigenden Interesse an \u00f6ffenbaren Autod\u00e4chern. Dem Unternehmen ist in China mittlerweile auch der Einstieg in die Elektromobilit\u00e4t gelungen: mit Hochvoltheizern, Ladel\u00f6sungen und Batteriesystemen \u2013 also mit dem kompletten neuen Produktangebot. Neben dem chinesischen Headquarter in Schanghai hat das Unternehmen zehn Standorte \u00fcberall dort, wo Fahrzeuge in China hergestellt werden, und besch\u00e4ftigt insgesamt rund 2.700 Mitarbeitende in Verwaltung, Entwicklung und Produktion.
