Later on, Dr. Karsten Ley, the tax director of Pricewaterhouse Coopers presented the tax and business advantages of Hong Kong while Achim Weick, CEO of EQS Group AG, shared his own story about how to set up business, servicing the Hong Kong financial industry and expanding through M&A.
The Q&A section was moderated by Markus Rieger, the founder and CEO of GoingPublic Media AG. The speakers shared their insightful opinions regarding the current topics of offshore RMB centers, the RMB`s internationalization, how to leverage the role of Hong Kong when doing business with mainland China etc.
